Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the platform. It is incorporated into our Terms of Service. Violating this policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
1. Lawful Use Only
You must only use the platform for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the platform to carry out, facilitate, or promote any illegal activity.
- Use the platform to provide services that require a licence you do not hold (e.g. medical, legal, or financial regulated services without authorisation).
- Process or store payment card data outside of the Stripe integration (PCI DSS compliance).
- Use the platform in any way that violates applicable data protection law, including unlawfully collecting or processing personal data of minors.
2. Prohibited Content
You must not upload, generate, transmit, or store content that:
- Is defamatory, abusive, hateful, or harassing.
- Is sexually explicit or involves minors.
- Infringes any third-party intellectual property rights.
- Contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
- Impersonates any person or organisation.
- Constitutes unsolicited commercial communications (spam) sent via the notification system.
3. Platform Integrity
You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform, another user's account, or our infrastructure.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the platform without our prior written consent.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features.
- Overload or disrupt the platform infrastructure (e.g. denial of service attacks).
- Access the platform through automated means (bots, scrapers) except via our official API with a valid API key.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform.
4. Competitive Use
You must not:
- Use access to the platform to build a competing product or service, directly or indirectly.
- Reproduce, copy, or resell any part of the platform without our written permission.
- Use the platform's AI features (ARIA) to train, fine-tune, or create competing AI models.
- Extract or systematically collect data about the platform's features, pricing, or architecture to share with a competitor.
5. Client Data
As a business owner using the platform to manage your clients, you must:
- Have a valid lawful basis under UK GDPR for collecting and processing your clients' personal data.
- Provide your clients with a privacy notice explaining how you use their data.
- Honour your clients' data rights (access, erasure, portability) and notify us when an erasure request requires action on our side.
- Not use the notification system to send marketing messages to clients who have opted out.
6. AI-Assisted Features (ARIA)
When using our AI assistant features you must not:
- Attempt to manipulate or "jailbreak" the AI to produce harmful, illegal, or misleading outputs.
- Use AI-generated content to deceive clients about the nature of the communication (ARIA must be used as a genuine assistant, not to impersonate a human without disclosure).
- Use ARIA to process sensitive personal data categories (health, biometrics, etc.) beyond what is required for the legitimate service being provided.
7. Enforcement
We reserve the right to investigate any suspected breach of this AUP. We may, without notice, remove violating content, suspend or terminate your account, or report activity to law enforcement where required. We will give prior notice where reasonably practicable and not legally prohibited.
